Cancellation Policy We respectfully remind all clients of Kabanossie Travel (PTY) Ltd that a “Booking” constitutes a contract between themselves and the Company. These conditions apply to all Guests in one booking.

Either a written or verbal confirmation of a booking constitutes a legally binding acceptance of a contract. The cancellation policy (as detailed below) will therefore be considered as accepted.



The submission of false details will constitute a legal breach of contract. Only people specified and paid for will be allowed on the property. Inspections can be made at any time and you will be evicted immediately with no refund should you be more than the stipulated number of guests stated on the booking form. This will be hold as breach of contract and there will be no negotiations.



All outstanding payments must be settled 3 days prior to check in unless otherwise agreed.

Full refund of deposit for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in. All efforts will be made to find a substitute booking. A reasonable admin fee will be charged for this and deducted from any deposit paid back. All Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the date of arrival are liable to be charged at 100% of the quoted rate, for each and every night booked



No large parties are to be held at the premises as the home forms part of a residential area and that the atmosphere of the area is upheld at all times.

Check in time is 14h00 and check out time is 10h00. Out of season later check out can be arranged with owner. No check in’s after 6pm. A penalty fine of R150 will be charged for check in’s after 6pm. If it is too late you will only be allowed to check in the next morning.

A penalty fine of R100.00 per hour will be charged for late check-outs. Unless prior arrangements have been made with the owner.



While every attempt is made to make your stay enjoyable, unforeseen issues do arise which is not in the control of the owner. (Ugu municipality, noise, etc.)



Loud Music will not be permitted. If there is any complaint from the neighbors you will also forfeit you breakage deposit. This had been a big problem lately. If the police come out they have the authority to confiscate the sound equipment.

Smoking is not permitted in the Holiday Home as per government regulations. You are welcome to smoke outside.



A breakage deposit determined by the size of the house and number of people, will be charged and refunded within 7 working days after check out, this is out of season. In season all refunds will only be done from the 10th January. Refunds will be done via Eft or cash deposits into the bank account given on the confirmation form.



Should the damage to the homes exceed the refundable deposit, you will be held liable and steps will be taken to recover the costs

Our Holiday Accommodation is self-catering. A cleaning service can be arranged at an additional R150.00 per day. A once off cleaning, linen or admin fee may be charged as prescribed by each owner. This will be mentioned in the quotation and is not refundable.



Strictly NO pets allowed. Unless stipulated “pets allowed” or arranged with the owner.



Please do not re-arrange the home. On check out the home should be neat, all rubbish closed up in black bags. No soiled dishes. Left-over food can be left in the fridge for the cleaning lady. Beds don’t have to be made as bedding need to be washed. Should the home be in an unacceptable state on check out, we will take it upon ourselves to get an extra maid in at your cost which will affect your refundable breakage fee.
