Aloe Cottage sleeps up to 3 adults or children in one double bed and 1 single bed in loft. The ground floor bedroom sleeps 2 adults or children in single beds. The bathroom is downstairs has a shower, toilet and basin.

Wyford Farm is situated in a pretty mountainous area off Van Reenen Pass (N3) and has a rich recorded history being built in the 1870’s as a Trading Store on the route between Johannesburg and Durban. It is now a small working farm with beef cattle, pigs, and horses which visitors may interact with. We are approximately 40 km from either Ladysmith or Harrismith and day trips are possible to Battlefield sites and Northern Berg resorts.

We offer comfortable accommodation in 4 separate and private self catering units which each have their own braai area and garden and are serviced daily. Wifi available in Garden Cottage and by the main house. Pets are allowed in Garden, Aloe and Poplar cottages.

Directions

Coming from Johannesburg / Harrismith on N3 take note of the Halfway Caltex Garage on the left at Van Reenen and continue on the N3 towards Ladysmith for 9 km and see our sign on brown boards. The entrance is directly opposite the Pyramids Motel (previously Andrews Motel), turn left on to the farm road and immediately left again and drive for 1, 8 km passing one house and stables on the left and continue to the end of the road which will bring you to the main house from where you will be directed to your individual cottage.

Coming from Durban / Ladysmith on either the N3 or R103 travel a further 15 km after the Tugela Toll Plaza and follow sign to Wyford directly opposite the Pyramids Motel (previously Andrews Motel) and continue as directed above.
