Bazley Beach merges with the Fafa River mouth creating a lagoon popular for swimming in. Canoeing and rafting are enjoyed by adults and children. It is a fantastic place to for anglers to fish, whether from the shore or out on a boat.

This is usually a quiet beach which makes it perfect if you want just to relax and catch a tan in peace. The rock pools are rich with sealife making this a great place to bring the kids at low tide. The surrounding bush is home to many birds, so bringing your camera and binoculars is a good idea.
The Makambati Nature reserve is a mere 115 km from Bazley. Eland, red hartebeest, blue wildebeest, gemsbok and blesbok have all been introduced into the reserve, whilst sugarbirds, sunbirds, croaking cisticolas, common waxbills and redshouldered widows rent the air with their cries.
