Horizon Savannah Camp Site and Chalets are located inside the gates of the eastern boundary of the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve. Situated on a 60-hectare conservancy hosting only plains game, makes Horizon Savannah safe for walking, cycling and running. It also offers easy access to the self-drive route in the Big 5 area giving guests the best of both worlds.

Accommodation comprises 2 chalets and 4 campsites.

The Four sleeper chalet can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The bedroom contains a queen sized bed. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The comfortable lounge area features two single beds, leather couches and armchairs. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, kettle, microwave oven, toaster and cutlery and crockery. The cottage has sliding doors opening to a covered patio with an outdoor dining table and chairs, and a braai facility. There is also a private fire pit area with seating.

The Two sleeper chalet accommodates 2 guests and is furnished with a queen-size bed, a comfortable leather couch and a bathroom fitted with a shower, an outdoor dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a fridge, microwave, and stove. There is also a private boma with braai facilities overlooking the swimming pool.

There are 4 private camping stands available, ideally suited for off-road high clearance caravans, trailers and tents. 4 campers are permitted per site. Each camping stand has its own bathroom and a power point.

On-site facilities include a swimming pool, secure parking, and a braai area.

Other activities in the area include Arlington craft brewery as well as other restaurants. We are situated 26km from Camp Discovery. Organized game drives, as well as self-drive routes are also easily accessible in the Big 5 reserve nearby.
